About the destination
Austria combines the grand architecture of the Habsburg monarchy with Alpine nature. Vienna's palaces and coffee houses, Salzburg with its fortress above the town, the lakes of the Salzkammergut and mountain passes.
Being close, it also suits a shorter trip: Vienna is reachable from Prague in a day, and the Advent markets are a favourite in autumn and winter.
